Well, today was an interesting day. I do believe I got something done however. Tangerine pinpointed where the suspicious activity on my card and stopped it. I am getting a new card with a new pin soon. Thank whomever...

Now I am just hot and tired... and I need a nap, but it's too late in the day for one and I need to take my insulin at 4:45pm.

I am having chicken wraps with rice for supper... I have some pictures that I took with the DSi camera on my 3DS XL. It sounds complicated but... here. Basically, it is the DSi camera on a 3DS... for those nostalgic for that, and tbh, I prefer the DSi camera over the 3DS camera. I'm weird like that. I will put the pictures on my PF.

Well.. I'm exhausted. I defo need sleep. But, gotta have something to eat and then meds.. believe me, if I could crash right now, I'd do it.

I went out for a walk with my girls and the weather was a complete opposite of yesterday, warm-ish, sunny, no ice, I'm like wtf?! But that is fine.

Gaming wise, not much is new... I tried Maplestory but, I didn't like it... and I am getting Pokemon X as I write this.

I will play the Sims tomorrow. I don't have much gas in me... that I will post on my PF too.

I am still reeling from Matthew Perry's death. Too fucking young. 54, is nearly my age. (I will be 50 in July) I was just gob smacked it was made a very big deal over here as he was half Canadian, and we take our countrymen/women very seriously... and when one kicks the bucket, we make a big deal. And for me, the death of my favorite Friend? Right where it hurts. I remember going googly eyed whenever Friends came on... now I'm just going to bawl my eyes out.

Otherwise in life, tis MUCH better. It was just very chaotic for awhile but now it has more or less settled down. I owe Joe, Judy and CDayzee a Happy Belated Birthday!!! *wraps arms around laptop* HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY to

I had a very nice Samhain, maybe that is what got me in such a good mood?? We had a fair amount of trick or treaters... I still haven't the heart to say 'Trick' bc a) this is an age where things are wayyy different than to when I was a child, and b) I like seeing the little faces light up as they come to get candy. We had tootsie rolls, lollies, and Rockets which are a local candy. I don't particularly like them, but when I was a girl, my friends and I would call them 'pills'... oh my hell... was that ever bad?! Now it seems bad, but back then, nope. Not really.. we saw nothing wrong (other than the chalky texture) with our 'pills'.

What was your go to candy when you were younger? I also got stuck with the insanely tough to eat toffee candies in the festive orange white and black wrappers, you know the ones I mean right?? I had good teeth back then. Still do... minus a few lol...

Speaking of toffee does anyone on my flist that is Canadian remember the really really hard toffee candy that you literally had to whack it on the floor...?? Mackenzie toffee, methinks?? Gosh was that ever fucking hard to eat but yum yum yum!!! To this day, I still prefer the mini bags of crisps that you can now get in a bigger bag for like $4 at No Frills nowadays... I love me some crisps. :D :D :D

I am despite Matt's death, in a very good mood.... as you may or may not see. Maybe I'm in a manic mode after such a long dreadful despondant mood eh??

Like a bloody rollercoaster bipolar is.. tbh.

Gaming wise, I have found my second niche. I like casual RPG like Pokemon and Animal Crossing, but I also enjoy Tekken and Street Fighter. Not because they incite violent feelings, but the sheer talent that some Tekken chars have, like Roger Jr., Jin, Eddie Gordo, and of course Chun-Li. :) (Chun-Li from SF has quite a lot of cosplayers lol) I am still obsessed with Tomodachi Life, and yes, I have tried the odd Asian version Tomodachi Collection on the emulator on my phone/tablet. I'd like to say that I like it but it is too fucking weird for me.

Speaking of phones, finally got my Samsung fixed. $130 for a brand new display, charger and case. Pretty good!!

Anyways, I will stfu now.

Not literally of course, I have had so much crap put onto my plate, personal wise that, I have decided that I have had it. Not with any of you. I love y'all. Not with this account. I'm still going to post, I just need to collect my thoughts.

Life wise -- I am trying to wrestle with some hefty shit.... financial crap. No worries, though, I'm not that badly off. I just need to get some cash to pay off the stupid internet bill and stupid fucking bank fees. I'm sick of Tangerine. I want to get out of their iron grip and somewhere else, bc I'mma gonna lose it. Also, I'm not happy with my weight loss - or lack thereof. I need to amp up my routine. I have to hit the track and run like the wind, to just lose these ruddy lbs.... or do something... anything.

Gaming wise, I need to get a hold of Nintendo, to access my account, bc I kind of screwed things up yet again. I forgot the email associated with my 'sambuca22' account. All my games are on there but I have a feeling I know the email now... thank whomever!!! Um... I have to check to make sure, but I have a good feeling about this.

I am also playing US/UM. I figured out that I have to also download the patch too. Took me awhile. Ha!! It would crash, and I figured out, JUST NOW, that you need the patch too... I've been under so much stress, I... just blanked out.

TMI I know... but, hey... I crossed it out. lol.. um, I am just playing random shit. I like playing Pokémon bc it's a release you know?? Um, Cooking Mama and all that girly shit.

Um.. baring my soul is rather fragile... ack. :(

Usually J's weekend isn't easy for any of us, but this morning, she was civil... which is a good thing...

I had an uneventful weekend, which is basically how I like it to be. It is a bit colder and damper so my left hip is not happy. Luckily the zombification levels are pretty low even if the spoons aren't... which I'll take any day. I hate being a zombie.... just doesn't sit well with me.

Saturday night was a weird one bc, I woke up at 12am... and stayed up til about 3. But last night was purrfect. No interruptions of sleep or whatevs.

Bees' birthday is coming up... I want to buy her a cake with Liz's help. I think $40 is enough. If it is too much, then, I will ask her to buy me some hair ties.

Gaming wise, I have started downloading some games that I d.on't have. I will stick with Pokemon Sun/Moon bc US/UM are really big files, and I only have a 64 gigger... so... and it keeps giving me errors. Would it be better to have just Moon and Ultra Sun?? I'm not too keen on Moon/Ultra Moon's gimmick, so.. maybe just Sun and Ultra Sun, plus there isn't much of a dif between the games... at least I don't think so. And I have been plugging away at Pokemon Platinum... but I have been at it with B&W and B&W2. Right now I want to just focus on one game.... which would be Sun.. and Platinum. What are your thoughts???

Simming wise, I'm not really into, bc I have to reset this machine to give it to Pinky, so... that means until I get my new computer, will I sim... very much... Pinky's machine is too slow for anything but the Sims 2, and she doesn't game much. She is more into Zoom bible study, and Facebook, and chat and all that.

Doesn't mean I won't sim... ;-)

Good afternoon. I am just playing the Sims 3 and waiting for dinner, Fish and chips. Typical British fare. Some are having catfish and others Alaskan pollack. I'm having the pollack. I like breaded fish over scaly fish. No offense.

My hip is acting up, like the flexors? Hurts like hell when bad weather is coming. Eh... I just want it to crack or do something to relieve the pain.

In gaming news, I have two Style Savvy games, (the third is janky and won't work for some godless reason... I did format my card to 64 gig ffs) and US/UM and Omega Ruby + Pokemon X and some other stuff like Tomodachi Life and the ilk. I also have that cartridge with like 300 games or whatever on it. :) I never really gave much thought to AC: WW, until I discovered it on there awhile back. It is a funny game. And another thing AC related... you can smack rocks with a shovel and they spit out bells or gems! This, I had no idea about.

Such is life on Friday October 13th. My cheque STILL hasn't arrived. Now they say the 15th. That, my friends is a goddamned Sunday and at last note, I don't think ruddy Canada Post workers did the weekends... or am I wrong??? *looks at Dwight, Sabot and the other Canucks on her flist*

I need a lobotomy. Being smart sometimes does not pay. :( Just putting that out there.

I'm running out of things to say, so I will go back to my game!

What is my favorite part of Thanksgiving? Being with loved ones and just enjoying myself. And quite possibly the food! Gotta love turkey and ham... although I like ham a lot more than turkey.... turkey is conk-out food due to it having tryptophan in it? But ya. Mashed potatoes? Maybe yams? Noms!! And dessert!? Three words. Southern blueberry pie. Or pumpkin.

Anyways, good times y'know??

Gaming wise, I got pretty much everything back. :) I have a different friend code so here it is: 2124-5348-6840. I have Pokemon US/UM, X and Omega Ruby to trade from. I will probably get Sun and Moon too. :)

I don't like Jared Leto's Joker so... I didn't include him. Heath was legendary, and Cesar and Jack were ok, even Joaquin was great.... but I like Heath Ledger a lot... I was pretty torn up when he passed.

Eh.. the good news is that Pokemon Ultra Sun/Ultra Moon are working again. I intend to get Sun & Moon too. I love my hacked 3DS. ♥

I had turkey sausages, and pasta salad for dinner... was good. Roxy served us.

Tomorrow I am on dishes.... *sighs* We have a crapload of dishes ahead of us... ugh. Thankfully, Bees will help with it, along with me and Jo. :) Jo is a really fast washer thank whomever!!

Bees and Maman will both be in attendance to our Thanksgiving supper. I am being bad and eating more ham than turkey.... I absolutely love ham, spiral, bone in, however I can get it!!

Anyways, I already briefed y'all on the gaming front... I want to know why the hell, when they made the D/P updates on the Switch, why didn't they just redo Platinum ffs??? Doesn't make sense. :o Bc I have a cartridge with all these random games on it, like Platinum and such, I see now that they should have redone that instead of D/P. I had the original (and still do... in that mega bundle cartridge) Diamond and Bees had Pearl, I remember when they came out, and they came with these giant styluses with Dialga/Palkia on them. I remember losing mine on the road somewhere between here and the library.... we went to the library a lot in those days, bc I didn't own a laptop until like 2017-18...

It was great. I didn't originally choose Turtwig, but Piplup. I went through a phase where I was constantly restarting, so I got to play with every starter to the end, so.... but my favorite was defo Turtwig in the end.

I talk to much, I have to attend to my phone as it keeps pinging FB status updates. Oh! And Willie Jess is now Jase. Bees will take the Vaio now as Julie wants the Gateway. She doesn't game like Julz and I do. She mainly goes on for like Facebook, and Youtube, and e-mail... so this Vaio is purrf for her. :)

Besides April, October is my favorite month... reason being? Samhain/Hallowe'en! (Incidentally I love April bc my un-birthday is the 1st. Ha! April Fools Day!!) The spirit realm's veil into this world opens a bit more, those little fun sized bags of crisps, and just horror movies/shows become more mainstream.... like Dark Shadows?

I am going to do a special spread of the Osho deck on Samhain. Maybe I will do one for my sisters as well.. if you are interested in a draw, dm me here on DW, and I'll get back to you. I only have one deck, the Osho. So, that's that.

I just had chicken tacos for dinner. These, I find are more flavorful than the beef... that's just me though...

Gaming-wise, I am playing all sorts of games. Style Savvy, Pokemon, Zelda, Cooking Mama and more... right now I am muddling my way through Platinum.

I got me a new desk lamp!

There is Julie's Vaio I'm borrowing til the 31st, and my Vitamin Water... it doesn't have any water in it now but it did. :) Speaking of Julz, she's going to the movies tonight. I think I'll see a movie too. Not sure which but it will be a horror. (And you expected any different??) No popcorn or pop for me though bc I'm watching mine at home, well, technically I could have a snack... but no.. I ate 3 soft tortilla type tacos and I'm sated. After pizza, I love me some tacos. :)

Friday, Bees and I are off to the walking track.. after I hit W4U bc I couldn't last week, but this week I intend to. Also, we are dragging Julz with us. :) I am glad to be able to be with Bees again. :) For awhile I couldn't. Only for walks and such. But.... ya. Don't ask why though.

I think I might play me some Sims too tonight. I need to stay up to greet Julie as she arrives back home... you know? Sometimes ppl will get locked out. Hopefully she won't be long...

I had a meeting with the diabetic clinic... and they want me to see my endo to see if going on Ozempic is feasible, bc I have gained quite a lot of weight, although Bees told me today that I looked slimmer. :) I thought maybe it was the way I dressed today but nope. :) I have to dig out my scale to see my weight....

I do have anxiety about Friday, but I can do it. I have nothing to fear. I just need to keep telling myself that. :/ I have to get a few groceries at the Dollarama, I have to get coffee whitener, decaf coffee, and sweetener. I weaned my sisters off the sugar. :D Plus I have a craving for their house potato chips. I know I know... but they are so good. The reason I'm not going to Giant Tiger for this stuff, is that Julie has bad legs, and needs to cut shit short. And there is my phone, I need to fix and I appreciate all the good wishes. :) I will get that outta the way, then, there is my Amazon order (more body wash + a large water bottle. I do realize that I can get the water bottle at the dollar store but I need a good quality one, not a shoddily made one.

I wonder.... I'm going to check Giant Tiger's website and see if they have any bath products and a water bottle, and yes, I know the dollar store might have these, but quality over quantity. :)

We are having chicken wraps and something on the side for dinner tonight, was supposed to be lasagna but Maman had to get the pasta in the oven at 3pm and the Instacart delivery is just arriving now. So, tomorrow maybe? :)

Gaming wise, I am just muddling through several different games, I am going to play Ultra Moon tonight, I still want to play Platinum.

As if you couldn't tell non? (´▽`ʃ♡ƪ) I just woke up about an hour ago. I think my body is telling me that I am back to normal, no more stress hormones... bc yesterday I woke up at like 8am... almost missed breakie. :o

Also I think I'm getting my period which is just fantastic. Not. I will find out soon enough. I honestly will not miss it after menopause. Seriously! I am almost 50, will never have kids, so... Idk.

This is why I don't tend to trust organized religion, and am Wiccan. :)

Anyways, I am going to take my blood sugars test, and just wait an hour. Play some Pokemon X... or Rocket Red... which besides Pokemon Sweets 1 & 2, is my favorite hack. :) I think I'll tackle Platinum another day. Or, I might just lay back on my bed and mindlessly watch Bonggil. :) I'm fucked, I get it. Ha.

Good day to y'all. I am doing quite a bit better. :) I still have the stuffy nose, and a little cough but that is it. Could be my asthma acting up yet again. IDK...

I had a toasted tomato sandwich with lettuce for lunch and it was delicious. I do love them. It was supposed to be a blt but I think Mom forgot the bacon. It's not her fault, it has been very busy 'round here... what with the doc coming and various workers, and Anne K, and the EMTs for Anna who needs praying for as she is a very sick woman... not physically but mentally.. so if you are the praying type... pls say a prayer?

I am the praying type but my prayers are usually rambling monologues... hehe..

Gaming wise, I intend to start with Pearl, then Diamond and THEN Platinum, then B&W/B&W2 and the lot. I intend to get a Switch in May. Mom approved of it.

Um... I decided to go by the typical Nuzlocke challenge (yes, I said Nuzlocke) in D/P. Not in Platinum though or I'd lose everything, bc I am not too good with legendary pokes in a Nuzlocke. I remember in X, trying my hardest to not be decimated by Mewtwo. That was effing hard... but in Pearl and Diamond ... whatevs... not that I could trade anyways anymore, the weird thing about the older games, in B&W/BW2 you can still trade but not in D/P/P you know?? X and Omega Ruby you can trade too. It's a bit strange.

I have to remember my Nintendo id which is sambuca22. I need it for the Switch... I think I saw something ... some notification on the now defunct 3DS eShop.... I might check that out....

And, of course, I have the Style Savvy games to play... which is good.
I am so bored, I might play a game like Fire Emblem... in fact on my cartridge, I think I have it... I would have to check...

Still have this stupid cold that Pinky passed onto me. :( At least I hope it's just a cold. She works with homeless people and right now they all have "colds" which could very well be COVID-19. I am going to ask for a test. I don't need this crap right now.

Most of last night, and a bit this morning, I was watching one of my favorite horror films of all time. It's called Her Name was Christa. And if you click the link, you can watch it too. It's a very classy flick. Makes you think, y'know?? It's darkly bittersweet...

So... day two of being sick. At least I'm not puking right?? I think today I will just relax in bed, play the Sims, or my 3DS ... still trying to muddle through Platinum, trying to remember what was what, where was where and which was the best team... I think I'm going to try B&W2 before Platinum bc my memories aren't so dull with that game lol...

Just woke up. Had these odd dreams, but unfortunately, can't remember them at all.. but perhaps that's for the best non?

Today is my bath day... and not much else. At least I don't think so. On Sunday, I caught my hand on the bedroom door and now the edge of my hand and my pinky hurts. I might have just badly bruised it but it doesn't look bruised so, maybe sprained? I will have to ask Dr. M tomorrow. The knuckle hurts some.

Earlier on at like 3am, I was awoken by someone talking on the phone really loud. It was Lucy W.. I'm sure of it. Ugh. :(

I will just relax and maybe take a walk, if it doesn't rain, but that maybe postponed til tomorrow bc there is a 100% chance of inclement weather. I do believe it's raining as I write this.

Gaming wise, I now know that I am not a Pikmin fan. I don't get Hey! Pikmin at all. I might play a bit of Mario Kart DS. I am getting slowly good at racing games heh. You should have seen me play NFS with my nephew all those years ago. Oy. The car would be swerving left to right, crashing into shit, it was not a pretty sight. But I loved it. :) My other nephew (the one I played NFS with first was Mathew) Michael really kicked butt at it. I enjoy Pokemon, fighting games, the Sims, and Cooking Mama. I am still thinking of tackling Pokemon Emerald Kaizo... which is very very awesome. It is a much harder hack of Emerald, which as you may or mayn't know is my all time favorite game... besides Crystal.

Yeah, it's coming down like cats and dogs. This is the kind of weather I love. :D Bring on the colder winter months!!

Mom says that I can get a Switch in May so.... look forward to that. I am still playing Style Savvy. I adore fashion games. :) I want to play some games on Steam, stuff like the Sims, you know??

Anyways, my alarm has gone off. Must go.
